Instagram Follower Campaign: Prerequisites

🎯 Objective

To create and launch a paid Instagram campaign with the goal of increasing high-quality, relevant followers who are likely to engage with and support the brand.

 


 

✅ PREREQUISITES

1. Business Setup & Access

  • An Instagram Business Account connected to a Facebook Page

  • A Meta Business Manager account with Admin access

  • A Meta Ads Account with billing method set up

2. Audience & Brand Foundation

  • Clear definition of Target Audience

    • Age, gender, location, language

    • Interests and behaviors

  • Consistent Instagram Feed Aesthetic

    • High-quality content already posted (minimum 9 posts recommended)

    • Branded bio, profile image, highlights, etc.

  • Engagement-ready account:

    • Responding to comments and DMs promptly

    • Active Stories and Reels

3. Creative Assets

  • High-quality visuals (image or video formats: 1:1, 4:5, or 9:16)

  • Engaging captions with a clear CTA like “Follow us for more”

  • Copy and design that highlights why someone should follow you

    • Showcase value (tips, deals, community, entertainment, etc.)

  • Optional: Testimonials, influencer shoutouts, UGC, or contest hooks

4. Tracking & Analytics

  • Facebook Pixel installed on website (optional for retargeting but not required for follower campaigns)

  • UTM parameters for tracking external clicks

  • Meta Events Manager access (optional but recommended)
