To create and verify a Google Business Profile (GBP) that accurately represents the business on Google Search and Maps.

A fully verified Google Business Profile with complete and accurate business details, ready for public visibility and engagement.

  • Immediately after a new business is opened or ready for public launch.

Who Does This:

  • Digital Marketing Executive or SEO Specialist

  • Verified by Business Owner or Marketing Manager

Environment Setup:

  • Active Google Account

  • Business information: name, address, contact, website, business hours

  • High-quality logo and business photos

  • Access to phone/email/mailbox for verification

Step-by-Step Process:

  1. Log in to your Google Account

  • Click “Add your business to Google”

  • Enter Business Name and select Business Category

  • Enter Business Location Details

  • Choose if you have a storefront or service area

  • Add business address or delivery/service regions

  • Add Contact Information

  • Phone number

  • Website (optional, but recommended)

  • Choose Verification Method

  • Postcard by Mail (default)

  • Or Email / Phone / Instant (if eligible)

  • Enter verification code when received

  • Post-Verification Setup

  • Upload:

    • Business logo

    • Cover photo

    • Interior/exterior photos (if applicable)

  • Add:

    • Business Description

    • Business Hours

    • Attributes (e.g., women-led, wheelchair accessible)

  • Enable Messaging (optional)

  • Set Opening Date if the business is new

Checklist Before Launch:
